Thermal grease is an oil-based thermally conductive material that operates over a wide temperature range, enabling the efficient transfer of heat from sensitive components to a heat-dissipating surface with a larger thermal dissipation area. Its pliability allows it to readily fill the gaps between two mating surfaces, ensuring intimate contact between the surface of the electronic component to be cooled and the heat sink, thereby reducing thermal resistance. This facilitates rapid and effective cooling, extending the service life of the component and enhancing its reliability.
Conductive grease is a conductive lubricant formulated by refining synthetic base oil, a conductive carbon black thickener, and special additives.
